The Gallery at Ventana Inn Hotel & Spa is proud to present the opening solo exhibition for Artist, Author, and Poet Carolyn Mary Kleefeld.

On December 5th 2014 from 5pm–8pm the Art Gallery at Ventana will feature 20 pieces from the Artist’s Private Collection for the first time in over 20 years. Most of these artworks are just now becoming available for acquisition.

This is a retrospective show of abstract paintings that will also be a celebration for Ms. Kleefeld’s life-long career and achievements.

This exhibition can be seen from December 5th 2014 to January 31st 2015.

As part of the opening event, Ms. Kleefeld will read from her latest book, The Divine Kiss, sign books from among her many publications, and share her creative passion and vision with our guests.

Also present for this event will be some of the most important Big Sur and California Central Coast Artists.

About the Artist:

Carolyn Mary Kleefeld
is an American author, poet, and visual artist. Ms. Kleefeld is the author of 19 books, many of which are used as inspirational texts in universities and healing centers worldwide and have been translated into Arabic, Bengali, Braille, Bulgarian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Romanian, and Sicilian.

Ms. Kleefeld has a line of fine art cards and has had numerous gallery and museum awards and exhibitions between 1981 and the present, in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other major cities.

Born in Catford, England, Ms. Kleefeld grew up in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, with a later move to Malibu, and studied art and psychology at UCLA. She has lived on a cliffside mountaintop in Big Sur, California for over 30 years.
