Vehicles will be allowed to travel northbound across the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge, one at time, until 5:00 PM today, February 12, 2017

Hello Big Sur!

We have another update this afternoon.

As per Heath Johnston, Caltrans Big Sur Maintenance Supervisor, vehicles will be allowed to travel northbound across the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge, one at time, until 5:00 PM today, February 12, 2017.

At 5:00 PM, vehicle access will be closed, but pedestrian traffic will be allowed until further notice.

Once northbound vehicles have exited the bridge, local residents may drive their vehicles south across the bridge (one way only during this period).

Again, at 5:00 PM, no more vehicle access across bridge will be provided, until further notice.

Thank you,

Kirk
