Hello Big Sur!

As fall approaches Big Sur celebrates with some of the best weather of the year and with that comes MUSIC! Below are just a couple of the concerts coming your way and a benefit Texas Hold’em fundraiser for the Henry Miller Memorial Library and also a raffle which you can participate with online.

Greetings from the Henry Miller Library!

We are very excited to announce that Fernwood Resort will be hosting a Texas Hold’em, Ping Pong tournament, and raffle fundraiser for the Henry Miller Library – August 15th!

The event starts at 4 pm with Ping Pong; poker starts at 7 pm; raffling goes on throughout the night. The event is free and open to the general public.

Texas Hold’em participants can win incredible prizes like free tickets to a 2013 Library event, plus gift certificates to world-class Central California spas and resorts, and much more.

Raffle winners, meanwhile, can take home free tickets to a 2013 event, plus tickets to upcoming Mumford and Sons (in Monterey), Flaming Lips, Rufus Wainwright and Philip Glass performances, Library merchandise, gift certificates from local businesses, and – you guess it – so much more.
